It was a gorgeous day for a spring wedding at the Hyatt Regency Scottsdale Resort and Spa. The bride and groom, Haley and York, seemed to fall more in love with each passing moment of their special day. I had the pleasure of working alongside Karlee K. Photography as the second shooter, and together we were able to capture all the special moments and unique touches. The whole day turned out so incredibly stunning as each component perfectly suited the next. (And speaking of suits, the groom and his men looked dashing in navy blue.)

Prior to the ceremony, the bridal party sipped delicately on mimosas out of polka dot straws so as not to mess up their freshly airbrushed skin and breezy locks. Lovely hues of soft blush and deep navy made little accents across the lush, Southwest venue. Once united, the bride’s crystal blue eyes gleamed at her husband-to-be, while his eyes locked on her’s every chance he could spare. A delicately ornate gown hugged Haley’s beautiful curves and dipped low in the back for a sophisticated yet sultry finish. And as a fresh final touch, pale blush peonies and white anemones made up dreamy floral bouquets for the bridesmaids’ main accessory.

The ceremony had a picturesque backdrop of the golf course with faint mountaintops in the distance. The guests murmured to each other and ‘oohed’ and ‘ahhed’ as the beautiful wedding party made their way down the aisle. An outdoor grass reception featured round tables with an interspersing of navy and blush linens and a plethora of stunning little details at nearly every turn. The guests, along with the delighted couple, danced the night away under the stars. After spending many moments swooning over their day, I came to the conclusion that It was utterly perfect and filled with no shortage of love and effortless beauty. Aside from the day’s physical perfection, the couple will forever cherish the heartfelt emotion that they so easily expressed on the inside.
