Dianna and Mahamoud met while ice skating in Arizona. Both doctors, they are the sweetest couple ever and it truly showed on their gorgeous wedding day.
They had a traditional middle orient wedding with a Zaffa ceremony, so it was a treat for me to experience such a unique cultural wedding. Having grown up in Brazil, I can appreciate a good wedding (with a night-long party) but I was beyond impressed with the many cultural differences and it made me more in tune with their world in a way I had not yet had the pleasure of experiencing.
Dianna’s gown was stunning – a ball gown style with long sheer embroidered sleeves. Mahamoud’s black tuxedo and bow tie brought a level of class to the stunning affair and Daianna’s perfectly rounded bouquet of pale pink roses finished off the refined theme of the day.
Burgundy floor-length bridesmaids dresses set the tone while a luxe reception with chic and sophisticated tabletops stole the show. Bow tie style napkins with crystal studded napkin rings laid over gorgeous gold sequin linens. A bright white room with sheer white curtains gave it a contemporary feel on top of what felt like 1920’s classic glam.
A large dance floor allowed for lots of room for their traditional choreographed dancing and a mysterious cloud of smoke surrounded the bride and groom at the end of the evening. The couple truly looked stunning and their love shone brighter than the stars.
