Ashley and Ryan Raygoza, a sweet couple from Southern California, were married at the beautiful Boulders Resort late last month and held an elegant wedding fit for royalty. The bridesmaid’s azul blue gown was rich and breezy against the mountainous rocky backdrop. Every little detail, even down to the bride’s braided bun up-do, complemented each other with ease. Ashley’s classic, A-line princess style ball gown gave off a soft femininity which paired immaculately with vibrant pink and yellow floral bouquets. Even amidst the abundance of dainty details, the deep connection between the couple was still the most prominent aspect of the day.

The loving pair knew immediately that they had found “the one” when they met. Similarly, when we met to discuss photography for their wedding day, they booked my services without hesitation or further research (no complaints here!), because I had the same good connection with them. On their intimate wedding day, the couple exchanged such beautiful and genuine vows that even the crowd began to get emotional with empathy, as they too felt the couple’s sincere tone.

The Raygoza’s chose to have their engagement session up North in Sedona. Ashley wanted to have a backdrop filled with fall colors, but even though no leaves were present that day, it was such a serene and sentimental session for the two of them. The photos were truly spectacular. It also doesn’t hurt that the couple is overwhelmingly photogenic. Even Ryan has one of the happiest smiles ever!

Their gorgeous wedding day ended with a backyard reception at their parents’ house, where the newlyweds danced the night away under the stars. Romantic string lights set the scene against a pastel sunset. It was a day filled with love, laughter and happy tears that the couple, and all who partook in the day, will forever cherish. You will soon see why in the images to follow.
